CPR & First Aid Certification for Caregivers

Somerset BLS is proud to partner with Keeping Values in the Mission to provide CPR and First Aid certification training for caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. This program combines online learning with an in-home skills session to make certification more accessible for families.

How the Program Works

Step 1: Submit Your Training Request

Complete the form below with your contact information, training address, and preferred training dates.

Step 2: Eligibility & Scheduling

Keeping Values in the Mission will review your information, coordinate enrollment, and confirm your training date and next steps.

Step 3: Complete the AHA Online Course

You will receive access to the required American Heart Association online First Aid course. Upon completion, save or print your certificate and have it available for your training session.

Step 4: Complete Your In-Home Skills Session

A certified Somerset BLS instructor will meet with you on your scheduled training date to complete the hands-on CPR and First Aid skills portion of your certification.

Step 5: Receive Your Certification

Upon successful completion of all requirements, your certification will be issued.
