Lisa Edmondson is an American Heart Association certified CPR and BLS instructor based in Somerset, NJ. With over 2,000 hours of hands-on teaching experience and a genuine passion for health and saving lives, Lisa brings warmth, patience, and real expertise to every class.

She meets every student where they are by adjusting her teaching style so you actually understand what to do when it matters most, not just enough to pass a test.

SOMERSET BLS AND CPR ACADEMY
Somerset BLS and CPR Training Academy was founded by Lisa Edmondson, an American Heart Association certified instructor with over 2,000 hours of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for health and saving lives.

Lisa spent more than 30 years in leadership and management before channeling her skills into something she believes in deeply, making sure the people around her know how to respond in an emergency. She started this academy because she saw how many healthcare professionals, office staff, and everyday people needed quality, accessible CPR training close to home in Somerset County.

What makes Lisa different is simple. She keeps classes small so everyone gets real attention. She adapts to how you learn, whether you pick things up quickly or need to go through it a few extra times, she stays with you until you're confident. And she doesn't rush you out the door. Every student leaves fully prepared, not just certified.

Classes are offered at our Somerset, NJ location and on-site at offices throughout central New Jersey. All certifications are through the American Heart Association and are valid for two years.
